Support for Young People

RMTGB

Stepping Stones, an initiative of Royal Masonic Trust for Girls and Boys helps to reduce severe child poverty by breaking the link between poverty and the lack of access to education. The scheme supports children in their communities who are most in need by providing grants to alleviate poverty and improve educational outcomes among those children and young people who face financial hardship and are educationally disadvantaged. Grants to London based charities in 2014 included, Place2Be, a leading provider of school based mental health support. Street League, which supports disadvantaged 16 to 25 year olds. Music First, a music education programme that supports young people from low income families and, National Literacy Trust, helps to transform lives through literacy.
